The admissions in the courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are done on the merit basis. The students are also called for an interview in the department at the time of admission.
For admission into Ph. D. programme the university conducts a Common Entrance Test. The department also holds a pre-RDC presentation of the candidates in the department on the basis of which the candidates are selected.
