We believe that infrastructure
is the lifeline of the organization. Our faculty optimizes
our beliefs. The sprawling faculty consists of well
furnished classrooms, state-of-the-art computer dome,
communication lab. and library, rich with plethora of
books from various disciplines. The faculty of management
studies provides excellent facilities to its students.
The department is equipped with specialized lab. to
help the students to develop their skills and have hands-on
experience in various tools. The buiding of FMS is spread in an area of 10668 sqft(constructed).The vast resources at the
department include:

| COMPUTER
DOME |
|
A general purpose lab providing computational facilities with
IT enabled management decision making situations and software
tools. This lab is utilizing leading edge technologies and
academic work. It will be a centre for advanced business computing.
Projection is in the areas of development and up-gradation
of technology, testing and bench-marking, consulting and training.
This unit undertakes research based projects, submission of
content for Multimedia production. This unit also houses the
enterprise applications lab. It is a specialized lab that
integrates information decision making technologies. The current
emphasis is on developing and exploring data mining operations.
The entire Faculty is networked through LAN. The faculty possess
Encarta, SPSS,Prowess and Tally Software. There are approx 30 systems with a windows serverE800(HP).Internet facility is through BSNL broadband of 2MBPS.

|
The faculty is well equipped and has a spacious library with
around 10047 books and reports/monographs on a large variety
of management and allied subjects. The reference section of
the library remains open on all working days. The cataloguing
service has been computerized. The library has a journal section
which is being developed at par with any other leading departmental
library. The faculty subscribes various management periodicals
and journals(05 International ,27 National), including the Harvard Business Review, CSI Journal,
AIMA Journal etc. A large number of newspapers and magazines
are also subscribed for use in the library. It has an area of 845 sqft.

| AUDIO-VISUAL
SECTION |
|
The faculty is having an audio-visual section with hundreds
of audio-visual; cassettes to begin with. Efforts are being
made to acquire the latest films, both Indian as well as foreign,
in the area of management. The section is also having a large
number of CDs and Diskettes related to management topics which
help to teach the student in a better way. We have OHP, Laptop,
Video Camera, Still Camera, TV, VCR, VCD, DVD, Panaboard,
Direct Projector and LCDs

| CONFERENCE
HALL |
| The
state-of art air-conditioned auditorium equipped with audio-video
facility has a capacity to accommodate 120 persons at a time.

| COMMUNICATION
LAB |
|
The
faculties do realize the need of communication and hence a
communication lab was set up in year 2003-04 in which 20 students
can be pitched at a time along with faculty members. It has an area of 725.2 sqft.

Faculty is also providing a regular expertise dose to would
be managers through direct face to face interaction with industry
and academia resources |
