Rawat said the decision on intermediate semester exams will be taken later. However, teachers and students are seeking to postpone the exam and even cancel. The Delhi University Teachers’ Association had written to acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.C. Joshi on the issue.

The Delhi University Teachers’ Association wrote a letter to the acting Vice-Chancellor on April 30, 2021, saying, “The university should take a sensitive view of that situation. No one is in a position to write or conduct university exams at this time.

Therefore, we request you to consider cancelling the examinations for all students and decide on alternative means for evaluating students. The time limit for submission of internal assessment should be extended.”

A lot of state-level education boards and national level boards like CBSE, ICSE has already cancelled the Class 10th Exams and postponed the Class 12th papers.
